"Working Together through Social Action to Realize a Just and Peaceful World"
The World House Global Network (WHGNetwork) operates through regular network meetings where network participants discuss current events, report on their work, and learn from others, such as subject matter experts, on local and global peace, justice, and human rights issues. Participants organize their social action work through working groups.
WHGNetwork Working Groups are self-generated groups of scholars, practitioners, activists, and ordinary citizens who organize as members of the Network to work on specific issues. Working Groups that wish to be recognized by WHPInc (1) organize around a common interest, (2) subscribe to WHPInc’s mission and guidelines for working groups, (3) submit a Working Group Statement of Organization and Purpose to the respective working group category (research, education, and social action) coordinator, and, once recognized by WHPInc, (4) provide regular periodic reports of the Working Group’s meetings and activities:
Meeting notes, including meeting agenda, persons in attendance, issues discussed, and actions/decisions made
Activity notes, persons in attendance, a summary of activities
