The WHPInc Global Network (WHGNetwork) is a gathering of individuals, groups, and organizations committed to human rights and nonviolence ideals. The network meets virtually every week to discuss current issues and hear from each other and subject matter experts on the panoply of subjects that confront the global community. Putting discussion into action, the Network’s work includes providing a platform where network members form working groups in response to local and global peace, conflict, and human rights challenges and opportunities to deliberate, decide, and act to realize a just and peaceful World House.
The WHGInstitutes operate standing working groups to support their activities. Standing working groups are the Research Working Group, the Education Working Group, and the Social Action Working Group. Membership in Institute working groups may include Network members and subject matter experts who are not WHP members.
While Institute working groups are organized and run by each Institute, WHGNetwork working groups are self-generated and run by network members.
WHGNetwork Working Groups include such subjects as
Youth Engagement
Good Governance and Leadership
Immigration, Refugees, and Internally Displaced Persons
Global Strategic Litigation and Advocacy on Racism and Social Justice
The Writings of Mohandas K. Gandhi
The Logic of Kingian Nonviolence
Global Social Thought
WHPInc serves as a platform for these groups, providing organizational and administrative support, advocacy, and resource development.
